Freaky Friday
So I'll start off with this one since I actually got to see it. If you've seen the movie, you know that Anna attends Sunset Ridge High School. Even though Sunset Ridge is not relevant, it was filmed at a real high school, Palisades Charter High School.
When we got to the school, it didn't seem like the same one from the movie. Once we walked around, I found the outdoor lockers, the staircases, and then it all looked much more familiar. Me being from nearly nowhere Kentucky, I was expecting them to brag about how the movie was filmed there, with huge signs or something. But nope, it looked like your everyday-average school. There was even an event going on in the gym, so there were a lot of students walking around. Before Katie and I could look any more like tourists, I whipped out my phone and started taking pictures of everything (I was too excited :), two students were walking near us when one of them loudly yelled "Is that girl taking pictures?" Kinda embarrassing...so we left!
Still, a great place that you must go see if you're a fan of the movie.

Prom
This location is similar to Freaky Friday's. But instead of one school, there are actually three. The movie is set at Brookside High (Once again, a fake high school,) which, on the outside, is John Burroughs Middle School.
However, there are a few hallway scenes shot from the same school.
Burroughs was also used for the dance scene, filmed in their Auditorium.

The other schools that were also used are Holmes Middle School and Lakewood High School, in which only a few scenes took place. (Why couldn't they just use one?!)
Sky High
If you're willing to drive about 40 minutes to Northridge (North of L.A,) you can see the famous school that Sky high was filmed at.
I hate to break it to you, but unfortunately it is does not float in the sky. Instead, it is the Oviatt Library at Cal-State University Northridge. Can you believe that whole fricken building is a library?!

If you want to see where the Stronghold house, it's located in South Pasadena.
Even though it should be obvious, It'd probably be best not to invade their property, because a family actually does live in this house :) But it's still really cool to drive by!
